Entity: Happy Outing LLC (“Happy Outing,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for purchases made through the Happy Outing platform (the “Service”). By making a purchase through the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Per-Event Purchases Are Final
All per-Event tier purchases are processed as one-time transactions through our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). Once purchased, Event tiers are non-refundable and non-transferable except as expressly stated in this Policy or as required by applicable law.
2. Tier Selection and Event Size
Responsibility of the Organizer. Organizers are responsible for selecting the correct Event tier at the time of purchase based on anticipated Registrants.
Tier Limits. If your Event exceeds the Registrant limit of the purchased tier, the Service will not automatically upgrade your Event.
Upgrades & Adjustments. Organizers must contact Happy Outing support if they need to upgrade an Event tier. Upgrades may require a separate invoice or transaction, at our discretion.
3. Event Cancellations by Organizers
Organizer-Initiated Cancellations. If you cancel or do not proceed with your Event, payments are generally non-refundable.
Exceptional Circumstances. In rare and exceptional situations, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial or full refund. Such requests must be submitted to our support team in writing.
No Automatic Refunds. Cancellation of an Event within the Service does not automatically trigger a refund.
4. Service Interruptions or Discontinuation
Temporary Interruptions. We are not responsible for temporary outages or interruptions caused by third-party providers (e.g., hosting, payment processors, or email services).
Permanent Discontinuation. If Happy Outing permanently discontinues the Service before your purchased Event takes place, we will use reasonable efforts to:
Provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your purchase, and
Allow you to export your Event data within a reasonable timeframe before shutdown.
5. Annual Unlimited Packages
Subscription Nature. Annual Unlimited Packages are subscriptions that renew automatically unless cancelled at least 30 days before renewal.
Cancellations. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current paid term. No pro-rated refunds are issued for unused time within the subscription term.
Discontinuation Exception. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we may provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the subscription, at our discretion.
6. Compliance With Law
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If local law requires refunds or cancellations in circumstances not covered here, we will comply with those obligations.
7. How to Request a Refund or Adjustment
To request a refund or discuss an Event tier adjustment, please contact our support team at support@happyouting.com. All requests must include:
Your Organization name.
The Event name and date.
The reason for your request.
We will review and respond to requests in a commercially reasonable timeframe.
8. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website or in-app with a new Effective Date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notification.
