A Registrant is a participant whose registration has been accepted and marked as registered/confirmed in Happy Outing for a given event. Only Registrants count toward your event tier thresholds and billing.
Waitlisted, cancelled, or declined participants do not count as Registrants.
Each Registrant is counted once per event, even if their status later changes or they cancel.
Duplicate entries for the same person in the same event are considered a single Registrant.
What happens if I go over my participant cap?
You’ll be prompted to upgrade before additional registrations are accepted.
Do I need to choose a plan before creating an event?
No. Start free and upgrade once you’re ready to open registration or pass the free limit.
Can I upgrade during an event?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately.
What if I cancel my event?
Full refunds before registration opens. After opening, please reach out to support@happyouting.com and make sure to reference the cancellation and refund policy.
Do you offer nonprofit discounts?
